Nice pick by CBF with Thomas, considered him long and hard but opted for the safer OU offense. It's a bad pool of RBs when Rainey is coming off the board this early.

Meyer just said today at SEC Media days that Rainey is getting the ball often. :p Given the fact that :cough: Percy :cough: could get hurt or not heal well, I think it a good strategy:biggrin:

Marriage boy needs to pick Javon Ringer and get it over with.

Yeah he's not a bad value at this point, actually, just a gamble for a #2 back (but probably the best available). Of course, I'm sitting here undecided if I'll get a 2nd RB next round.

Advising people to waste picks is not very Tressel-like.

Anybody have any thoughts about some of the last few picks. We'e running out of big names, and its getting to the point where we dont know any of these guys.
That's what stat sheets, rankings and mock drafts are for

Keiland Williams should get most of the carries for LSU this year, he averaged 6.8 per carry last year and had 478 yards rushing with 6 TDs as the #2 guy. Behind one of the best offensive lines in the SEC and playing for a team without a quarterback, I'm pretty happy that I picked him up and excited to see what he can do this year.

You picked Rainey over Ringer? I guess its better to be able to root for your players so I guess I see that!

Well, Urban saying today that he is going to handing off to him a bunch - plus saying he beat Demps in the 40 in a back of the dorm race-off made me lean that way.

My first pick was ACC, so I am not bound by the gator deal. I know nothing about Ringer except he is on a cheat sheet I was looking at.:tongue2:

Good pick. But LSU is so deep, they do play a bunch of kids, and if any one gets hot, Les will change the rotation accordingly. This is all WAG, with injuries coming up to bite us in the ass at any time.
