These are all great points. Let me speak in general terms. Right now the draft is set up so that the deadline is just pushed back 12 hours regardless of what happens before it. If we're gonna use deadlines, we have to cap how long a person has to make a pick at a solid number. Otherwise, the more people pick, the more obsolete the deadline is going to become. It's already pretty obsolete being almost 72 hours away.

I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, and I know I must be coming across as one, but why not just give a person 48 hours to pick from the person in front of them. Most picks will happen far, far before that, but you should be able to get onto the board within 48 hours or at least know that you'll be away from your computer for that kind of duration and send the commish your picks.

So mross, are you saying we should set the deadline at 12 hours after each pick is made? I understand why MD did it this way, but it seems like everyone is pretty much on the ball. If everyone PM's MD that this small change would be ok then lets do it. Lets just be patient, and know that this will get done.

cbf40 (one example) works some long hours sometimes and I know when he has the time he will make his pick but some people do have other commitments. Let's all just try and check the draft thread periodically and if your time is ready make your pick. MD Buckeye is the Commissioner and I he will get the job done!

Ok. The new rule is that you have 24 hours to make your pick after the person infront of you makes theirs. If you have a problem, PM me.

Commissioner, do you think it would be a good idea to start a post with the running tab of the players that have been chosen because when he gets down to around it could get very confusing. I think it would be best if there were set up in the draft thread but you can make that call. You have the second post in the draft thread so that might be a good place to put it. Just a suggestion:)
