So, I've been around too many forums to even recall and there's always been at least one random "forum game" that I've been a part of that was too freakin' great. So I'm wondering if I put together a game of Risk for the forums that was maybe football or Buckeye themed. (Recruiting themed risk, state of Ohio risk, Big Ten states risk...stuff like that) would anyone be down for trying it out?

I'm thinking that there are so many folks that if a bunch of people wanted to try we could delegate "teams" so to speak that have a "general" or "commander" or a leader of some sort that represents the group's decisions and so on and so forth.

I've seen this done, so I have a good idea of how it would work...I'm just curious if anyone would be up for it.

So let me know if this idea sounds dumb or worth a shot! I've already got plenty of ideas flowing on how to make this pretty cool.
 
Okay, so I can go about this a few ways.

I may try 'em each out for myself to see...

We could do a nationwide recruiting risk...where each team is a "coach" or a "program" that is trying to create the elite pipeline of recruiting. I've got some ideas for the details for this one.

We could do a state of Ohio risk, where each team is a school or a city and there's an Ohio civil war that breaks out among counties or territories. I could work that one out as well.

We could also do a Big Ten states/schools risk where each team is a Big Ten program trying to take over the Big Ten with student militia.

Trying to get creative here...

So it sounds like there's enough support.

I can definitely get it set up and keep an eye out for it, but I have a fairly busy schedule...so I'd have to have some help from someone who's here every day or can at least spend a half an hour on here when I can't get on.

Gimme about a week and I'll have us a set-up.

What's the preference though, if any?
