Rest assured, if multiples go undefeated, somebody is going to crash the BCS party. But I think the limit is 1...I doubt 2 would, and the MAC has absolutely no chance regardless.
I think the BCS has to take one if they finish in the top 12 in the final BCS standings. Money talks so only one will be taken.

Penn State stays at #3 because I think Alabama has the better resume. If Texas and Alabama win out there is no way I could put Penn State over one of those two teams.

Texas Tech does look improved to me, certainly they are a better team than in years past, but I still do not think they are a top 10 team. I think they will lose the next three to Texas, OK State, and Oklahoma and finish the season around 15-20. They have given Texas close games the last couple of years so I don't expect this year to be any different, especially since the game is in Lubbock. Their defense is still suspect, though they are utilizing the running game more. They already have 300 more yards on the ground this season than they did all of last year.

LSU stays in the top 10 because I don't think anyone behind them could beat them, with the exception of maybe TCU. TCU's defense is legit. They held Oklahoma to their lowest point total of the season and that game was in Norman (Texas held them to 35 as well) and other than that they have not allowed anyone to score more than 14 on them. Gary Patterson has always produced very good defensive teams here in Fort Worth, but I think this one might be his best.

As someone previously said, the bottom of the top 25 was hard to pick because few teams are really deserving. I found myself actually considering Notre Dame for a spot. Fortunately I came to my senses, but if they beat Pitt this weekend I might be forced to put them in.

I can't wait to watch the Florida/Georgia game. It was hard for me to decide which team should be ahead of the other. Georgia has the "better loss" but Florida has looked stronger in the rest of their games than Georgia has.

I realize it's blasphemous to have anyone other than Texas on top but they don't have a road win as solid as PSU's - Oklahoma was a neutral site, and the Sooners' defense sucks. OU has allowed 111 points their last 3 games.

Alabama got a big boost for beating Clemson early in the year, and we now know Clemson is, once again, clemson.

If Texas can win at Lubbock Saturday, they'll probably leap past the Lions in my poll. Tech, on the other hand, doesn't necessarily go #1 if they beat Texas. They're at home, and they are catching Texas at the best time.

Looks like I'll be the only one with the same #1 team from last week. :wink2:

week ten sent
