For once, I have no complaints with this poll except for the usual one above Utah and Boise State. I just don't think they belong in the top 11 or whenever. I also have Florida at #2 because I think they will beat Alabama in the SEC championship and just think they are a better team right now. Between 15 -25 it was really a crap shoot. I had Virginia Tech in at #24 and Western Michigan at #25. North Carolina dropped out of my top 25 and I did not have Maryland.

I would also like to thank everyone for not voting for Tulsa:)

Not a great deal of movement near the top half of the poll. Switched my first place vote from Alabama to Tech. I think there are some questions marks on the offensive side of the ball. I flipped Utah and Georgia because Utah has two impressive back to back wins against TCU and @ Air Force while Georgia has struggled to beat Kentucky and Auburn. I would not be surprised if Georgia Tech beat them in a couple of weeks. LSU has looked like garbage all season. This is not a top 25 caliber team. There is a very good chance that they will get smoked in their bowl game. Western Michigan in the top 25 at the last spot, and I'm happy to see I'm not the only one that put them in. Maryland and Boston College haven't impressed me that much. Boston College was my #26. Not much else to add to this since it was an uneventful week without much movement. This weekend does look promising though.

Dropping out: Cal, FSU

Unimpressive victories by Georgia and LSU led to Utah jumping them.
Oregon State jumps up a couple places with the win against a decent Cal team.
22-25...crap shoot. Don't really know, don't really care.

I'm not buying Utah being ahead of us in anyone's poll. Five of their wins are by 7 points or less and only two of their opponents are over .500, both 3 point wins at home. Boise State has a more impressive win than Utah, having defeated Oregon in Autzen.

I figured i'd do something different this week...and let everyone know how I voted :)

1. Texas Tech (1)
2. Alabama (2)
3. Florida (3)
4. USC (4)
5. Texas (5)
6. Oklahoma (6)
7. Utah (7)

16. BYU (19)
17. TCU (18)
18. LSU (15)
19. Cincinnati (20)
20. Oregon State (22)
21. Miami-FL (24)
22. North Carolina (16)
23. Boston College (NR)
24. Pitt (NR)
25. Maryland (NR)

I saw no need to change my top 14. Even though they didn't play, MSU moved up to 15, jumping LSU, who didn't impress me this week, and UNC, who lost. BYU jumps TCU with thier win against Air Force. Even though TCU beat BYU at home, but next week will sort that all out. Both teams jump LSU. Cincinnati still looking good, along with OrSt. UNC falls to 16..tough loss for them. BC, Pitt, and Maryland round out the last 3. I left Oregon out of my top 25...as I think the Pac-10 is overrated as it is...and Oregon just isn't that good. What is their good win? @ Purdue? They just haven't beaten anybody. Hope they can beat OrSt though...cuz that helps the Buckeyes out as far as BCS bowls are concerned. No need to rank Florida ahead of Alabama, even though I think Florida will beat them. Alabama didn't lose to Ole Miss. Florida did. I don't think polls are a prediction, but more of a combo of what a team has done, with maybe a little more weight placed on recent games...hince why I have Miami, FL so high.

Beat Michigan!!!

Nobody really moved for me at the top of the poll, as I have had Florida at 3 for quite a while. Even the middle didn't move much. The bottom is the Oregon duo, the constant revolving ACC suckfest, TCU, and Northwestern for me.

I agree with the statement, so can you elaborate as to why you have USC ahead of Texas and Oklahoma?
I think USC is great. Just because their conference is terrible, doesn't mean they are. I don't hold conference crappiness against a team. Yes Oregon State beat them, and Oregon State is probably the second best team in the conference. It was a game where the stars just alligned right, and from what i've seen out of both teams, if they played 10 more times, USC would probably win all 10. Same with Florida and Ole Miss. I think Florida and USC are the two best teams in the country. If there were a playoff, I think they would both keep winning until they played each other. But the both lost, and Alabama and Texas Tech have played tough schedules and have not lost, so they get to be 1 and 2. But when it comes to all the 1 loss teams, I just look at who I think would beat who...and so I have them in that order.
