BP Jokes & Acronyms (add more)

Hmmm, noticed that JWins didn't add anything about Smallville in his latest update.

Anyhow:

Anal
Flintlocks
DiHard/Alan (And his baptisms)
SusanZ
Ice Storm pics
The Dancing banana icon
Mili's Christmas lights
Al Gore

your fixation on that genre is well noted.
Anyhow:

Anal
case in point

Also, I am clearly too embarrassed to include any reference to the post right after yours as well.
Flintlocks
DiHard/Alan (And his baptisms)
SusanZ
Ice Storm pics
The Dancing banana icon
Mili's Christmas lights
Al Gore
other than gore, those are not really inside jokes not counting Alan, who was already mentioned.

And Gore ie about as much of an inside joke as Dan Quayle's handle on the English language.

xrayrandy and Texas' linebackers who are as fast as Ted Ginn and second string full of future All-Americans and first round draft picks

also the sadly predictable MAC smack talk before a game involving athletes that Ohio State has never seen before and how this could be the year

Give xrayrandy his due. The nucleus of young kids that he was hyping up in 2006 did play for a national title in '09/'10.

Now, I'm not sure that Sergio Kindle's mythic 4.2 40 time did much good after getting trucked by Ingram and Richardson all night long, but then, I don't believe it was xray suggesting that, that argument about Kindle's speed was actually from some other idiot. xray wore orange-colored glasses and was prone to hyperbole, but he did specifically name the majority of kids that panned out and even suggested Snead would transfer if Colt won the starting job.

From that 2006 team, Griffin and Ross were 1st round picks in the following draft and Ross won the Thorpe. Blalock was Big 12 O-Lineman of the Year and went at the top of the 2nd round. Orakpo, Finley, Miller were all great. Ulatoski was solid. Kindle was a very good college player and is with the Ravens now. And, oh yeah ... Kindle did eventually become a first team All-American.

As ridiculous as it was at the time, xrayrandy nailed it.

I still think about him anytime someone makes a ridiculous claim about their team and would consider it something that a lot of BP regulars are familiar with.

But if you insist on bursting my bubble :tongue2:, how about thakid (I think that's his name) and his similarly ridiculous predictions about Illinois that most certainly have not panned out.
