BP Fantasy Baseball (2008-2024, Current Champion = MD Buckeye again)

Note some stat categories have changed. Everyone from last year was auto renewed - are they all still active?

Like CFP said, if you want to see who you had on your roster before voting for 1 or not, your team is there.

We have an innings pitched weekly minimum (same as last year). I'd like to put a maximum on it too but there doesn't appear to be such a setting in H2H.

Hey, just remembered something;

We had discussed not using the catcher position in 2019 at one point as they are all essentially useless hitters and an empty roster spot

Any interest in revisiting that or is it too much complexity for @Jake ?

I vote for keeping the C position. It may be a plethora of shitty options but it’s still part of the starting 9 on the baseball field. The least shitty catcher is still an advantage, just as they are on a real MLB team.

The National League takes the same view of pitchers and because of it we are subjected to watching them routinely flail helplessly away.

Shaq can’t get someone to shoot his FTs.
I can’t get someone to putt my 30 footers.
And I’ll be damned if a pitcher gets someone to hit for them. The AL fucked that up. The NL has it right. I don’t know how being able to throw a ball over a certain MPH meant that hitting a baseball became infinitely harder but it sounds like bullshit to me.
