BP Fantasy Baseball (2008-2024, Current Champion = MD Buckeye again)

Whose leg do I have to hump just to get a save opportunity?

Kimbrel has pitched twice, both non save opportunities.
Norris has pitched twice, both non save opportunities.
Kintzler and Robertson haven't stepped on a mound.

Oh joy! Kintzler is coming in with a 4 run lead!

The ChiSox are white knuckling a 1 run lead and are most assuredly going to blow it before I sniff a hold or save opportunity. Take it to the bank.

Edit: Yep. All I had to do was type it.

Thank God! I was worried the White Sox weren't going to bring in Robertson in a 4 run/no-win/no-hold/no-save/minimal amount of Ks/pointless risk of raising ERA and WHIP situation. Thankfully, I was wrong...

Unfortunately, it looks like you're the one who has given up 21 runs over 25 innings and he has only given up 7 over 8.1. Methinks his ERA goes down quicker.

Which pisses me off because my rotation is a lot better, at least it was before most of them went to shit this season. He's trotting out guys like Volquez, Wainright and Sabathia. :argh:

Only took 3 pitches for the fireworks to begin between the Bucs and Cubs at PNC. :slappy:

Rizzo jacked one into the Allegheny River. It was initially called a home run. The umps got together after Rizzo finished his trot and decided it was a foul ball. Replay confirmed they were actually correct to change the call, but Joe Maddon wasn't having it. He got tossed.

Rizzo eventually walked and the Cubs put up a 3 spot, anyway. :ohbrother:
