My dumb ass played Story in a utility spot when he only has SS eligibility. Sooooooo, now Hicks isn't in the lineup tonight and instead of me being able to shuffle my OF to put Marwin Gonzalez in the OF with Story at SS and the ability to bring in anybody off my bench in to a utility spot, I now have to bring in a different player to the OF and keep Gonzalez at short. That means I HAVE to play McCutchen today instead of being able to play anyone else who sucks less.

It used to be "IF", "OF", and one "UTIL" spot. Changing them to three "UTIL" spots gives managers more flexibility, but only if they remember to use them. :biggrin:

Yeah. I biffed it. It's the little lessons that you learn even though I should have known from fantasy football. If you have a guy playing on, say, Thursday night, play him in his position spot so if anything happens between then and Sunday, at least you have flexibility with your flex instead of being painted in to a corner. I'm just fucking dumb.

In other news...somebody send a medic out to Colorado because Mark Reynolds is sick.

Edit: and now Gonzalez isn't in the lineup tonight so it's a red x no matter what now. I manage like Dusty fucking Baker.
