While I was at the Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon on Friday, I was able to get nine items autographed by Malcolm Jenkins, Todd Boeckman, James Laurinatitis, and Coach Tressel. These items are now being auctioned off, with all of the money being donated to BP.

This post will be used to keep track of the bids, which should be sent to me via regular PM (not the new buddy messages). I will update the highest bid for each item as often as possible. The minimum bid for each item is $20.00. The winner will be the person with the highest PM'd bid as of noon Eastern time on Monday, August 11th. After the donation to BP has been confirmed by a site admin, I will send the item to the winning bidder.

The winning bidders will also receive $5,000 in vCash for each dollar of the purchase price. (Note - This vCash isn't from me, I've gotta catch Piney!)

Here are the items (if you wish to bid. please send a PM to BB73, and indicate which item number you are bidding on):

#1. The Winner's Manual for the Game of Life, autographed on the inside cover by author Jim Tressel. (see picture of front and inside covers below)

Leading bid for item #1 so far: $100.00 - funman

#2. A 2006 National Championship Game Program, autographed on the front cover by Malcolm Jenkins, Todd Boeckman, James Laurinaitis, and Jim Tressel. The program's condition is like-new (I've never even paged through it, it's pictured below). It measures roughly 8 1/4" by 10 3/4".

Leading bid for item #2 so far: $40.00 - OCBucksFan

#3. A 2008 Ohio State Football Poster with the schedule, autographed by Malcolm Jenkins, Todd Boeckman, James Laurinaitis, and Jim Tressel. The poster measures 24" by 32", and is pictured below.

Leading bid for item #3 so far: $80.00 - Bukiprof

#4. A set of 3 individually autograph player cards, one each for #2, #17, and #33. These cards each measure 5 1/2" by 8 1/2". The cards are in the same picture below.

Leading bid for item #4 so far: $60.00 - Bukiprof

#5. A player card, autographed by Malcolm Jenkins.
The card measures 5 1/2" by 8 1/2", and is the one in the picture of #2 and #33.

Leading bid for item #5 so far: $20.00 - shetuck

#6. A player card, autographed by Todd Boeckman.
The card measures 5 1/2" by 8 1/2", and is the one pictured by itself.

Leading bid for item #6 so far: $30.00 - shetuck

#7. A player card, autographed by James Laurinaitis.
The card measures 5 1/2" by 8 1/2", and is in the picture of #2 and #33.

I don't see pictures of #1....

In my post, I can see it above the 5 thumbnails. There's a limit of 5 per post, so I've added it in post #2. Is it now visible for you? You may have to click the link.

Yall are fucking lame that the last bid on any of this fine Buckeye stuff was almost 48 hrs ago. "I don't have any $$" isn't a fucking excuse either, there are items with no bids that you "might" be able to win for a penny. Cheap lazy motherfuckers!

While I appreciate your sentiments, all of the other bidders have sent their bids via PM. I received one in the last hour. :wink2:

When I click on the link in your second post I get the following:

, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons. PLEASE read these before PMing, emailing or posting to ask why you're getting this message:

1. We have had to temporarily restrict access to the site to registered visitors alone. This is due to massive strain on the server during the crush of the recruit signing period. This is a temporary measure, and will return to normal at some point in the future. There is a link below if you wish to register.
2. If you are trying to post, you may not yet have clicked on the confirmation email the system sent you after registering or changing your email address on record. Check all of your inboxes for this email, as the message may have been filtered by your account. This is always true for Yahoo.com, but happens relatively frequently with anyone with strict spam filtering rules.
3. You may be trying to access an area of the site that requires group membership. You can join any group on the site by clicking on UserCP, then the Group Membership links on the bottom of the left navbar.
4. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? You may be trying to access tools that are only available to mods or admins.
5. You may have been banned. But in this instance, you would have known it was coming because of prior warnings and/or PMs from mods and admins. This is the least likely possibility, particularly if you're unaware of any possible reason for such an extreme administrative action.
