Bowl Scandals / John Junker Fired from Fiesta

Atleast with Jerra you know its FOR PROFIT organization.. he makes no bones about it he's out for more and more money.

Hell - give him points for candor.
If all the man wants to do is make ridiculous money, watch football and bag strippers, we should all be so lucky.

No use working your whole life to build up a 401k while spending 40+ years sleeping with a woman that looks like Lenin.

I actually just got done reading a good chunk of that report. Seems this guy had people donating money to specific campaign funds - and some of the folks who were pressured to donate weren't even of the same political party of the candidates, lol.

I also love the fact that when Junker saw that his check was going to be looked at, he had an "OH CRAP, not that check again" kind of reaction.

This kind of crap happens where people are stealing money (cause that's what this basically is...stealing), but yet five kids are punished for selling their OWN stuff.

According to the report, Junker explained to investigators: "We are in the business where big strong athletes are known to attend these types of establishments. It was important for us to visit, and we certainly conducted business."

LOL - his justification is that since the jocks go there, they get to go? LOL...nothing but cash transactions?

Not a glaring conflict of interest there, lol.

BCS conducts shallow probe as party rages on

Although Florida AD Jeremy Foley is on the BCS task force that will be reviewing the Fiesta Bowl situation, he is NOT the one that accepted the free cruise from the Orange Bowl. Since the Orange Bowl is in that state, somebody could have made that false assumption.

I figured I'd better point that out, because the one thing BP lacks is somebody that would bother to defend a falsely-accused Florida AD.

If a free cruise was taken, it could have been an identical looking alien pod-person that replicated the real Foley.

I've met the man and know all the good he's done Florida for over a decade now. And look at our record versus Georgia! :paranoid:

The free cruise was taken by the Southern Miss AD, who is also on the task force.
