Had to replace Wake Forest in the upset contest and took a flier on UCF. Probably won't win, but it would be funny if they did. One thing they won't be short on is motivation.

Gators have a bunch of guys in the portal who are playing. I wonder if some "business decisions" could be made tonight.

Rutgers will replace Texas A&M as the opponent for Wake Forest in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, it was announced Thursday.

"This is an exciting time for Rutgers," Rutgers coach Greg Schiano said in a statement. "I'm so happy for our players to be able to experience a great bowl game atmosphere. Anytime you can go out and test yourself against the country's top talent, it creates a tremendous opportunity for our players to grow and develop."

Actually I think they should just have gotten the Jaguars to play Wake Forest in the Gator Bowl. They are already in Jacksonville and the way they are playing (i.e. not much better than a good college team) it would be a good contest vs. Wake Forest. Besides the local team would probably be better draw for TV and attendance than Rutgers would be.

And Kahn can use his team's share of the payout (i.e. reported to be $5.35M) help pay off Urban Meyer when Meyer wins the lawsuit.
