Bond 25 | No Time To Die!

The world moves on, and Bond needed to move on. I love the Connery movies, but it's time for the franchise to grow up, and it's no longer appropriate for Bond to be raping women. I don't necessarily want it to become LeCarre (which are far more realistic books and movies), but it was time for something different.
Getting rid of Daniel Craig's Bond would be great. He has been progressively less fun every movie, and I find his Bond to be rather contrary to the fun-loving spirit of the character. Craig really bottomed out with this one, I wouldn't have even agreed to do it if I were in his place. There's a big leap from a havimg a couple flings to rape, and shame on you for suggesting that was what I had in mind at all.

The Rami Malek villain character was so half-baked it's not even funny. Like, how exactly did the dude get a fortune & an army? Some sort of unexplained family gardening empire? It doesn't make any sense.

Yep. People forget that, by stubbornly sticking to the same formula, the franchise was being written off as dead by the end of Brosnan's run. I don't get the Dalton hate either. He was a necessary reboot after the Moore movies had literally slid into self-parody. He just couldn't pull it off with the panache of Craig.

And in no way, in a franchise that gave us duds like Diamonds Are Forever, Moonraker, View To A Kill, Octopussy and Die Another Day, can this be remotely considered the worst Bond movie.
admittedly as a child of the 80s I have only seen the Dalton Bonds a few times. So admittedly I am jaded, will need to rewatch

uhm.. you take those first 4 back… VtaK for Walken alone is worth the bad plot and acting. Diamonds… I mean Bond in Sin City… seriously Bond in SPACE launched from Brazil, and well Octopussy just for the name alone…

Brosnan had Goldeye which was brilliant then all the rest were turds of the highest order

Obviously you don't expect James Bond to act like James Bond and don't need the plot to be developed or make any sense whatsoever. NTTD failed in those critical aspects. Craig is the worst Bond because he had the most dull roles. Whatever happened to Bond using his brain, doing actual espionage and not making Q and others spoonfeed him information like he's a baby.
