Boise St -18.5 at Toledo (ov/un 58.5) Fri 8 ET, ESPN

The play by play guy opened the telecast by saying it is now a specious argument to question whether Boise is a BCS team, and now he's referring to their players by first names only.

I just hope they don't show the video of him blowing Kellen Moore this afternoon.

That's bullshit. There's no way he used the word "specious".

And to be fair, he's on a first-name basis because this is the same JV crew that does all of Boise's games.

Looks like Boise is delaying their blitzes. I don't remember the Bucks doing much of that last weekend, but then I wasn't in a good spot to pick up on that kind of thing. Regardless, it has been effective so far tonight.

here is the question that really needs to be answered....

Could you take away Boise's Starting QB1, RB1, RB2, WR1, WR2, LT1, CB1, CB2,DE1 DE2 (Pryor, Herron, Hall, Posey, Brown (injury), Adams, Howard, Pitt Brown, Williams (injury), Solomon thomas). Then with all these losses, have the best defensive player on the field go down for the majority of the second half (Jon Simon)

and still ape fuck Toledo. Unfortunately we will never know.

Boise has the starters to play with anyone on any given day. The question has always been could they hold up over time with a tougher schedule. Their startes rarely play into the 4th quarter so injuries are less likely.

I don't think many teams could suffer the losses we have and perform much better.
