Boise St -14.5 at Nevada (ov/un 68.5) Fri 10:15 ET, ESPN

At least it's not on that damned blue turf. If I weren't already "all in" against Michigan, I'd drop some vCoin on the Wolfpack as a goodwill gesture.

Really, is there a reason in all of the hype on Smurf U. to think that they're any better than Nevada? They've all beaten the same bunch of nursing schools by double digit margins. Please, Nevada. End this national nightmare once and for all.

Nevada is our last hope. Unfortunately, I think Auburn loses that afternoon, and Boysee comes out playing for a spot in the NC game.

I suspect that, too, which almost makes me want to root for Auburn. :ohwell:

Oregon-Boise in the NC game would make me want to look for a good movie on pay per view. Auburn-Oregon would be a lot more compelling to me.

I'll watch whoever plays but Oregon-Auburn would be a better game although with Boise having having Oregon's number lately they could *choke* win it all.

As far as the NC goes, I am still holding out hope after all this shit for an old fashioned Stanford vs Wisconsin game.

Oregon, Auburn, Boise and LSU could all still drop a game and I just can't see Stanford and Wisconsin losing. I also don't think the human pollsters will let TCU play for it, I really don't.

Long shot to be sure but stranger shit has happened.

Nevada was driving on their first possession, completed a pass inside Boise's 20 when a mysterious flag that even the announcers couldn't explain backed them up. The next play was long yardage, and Nevada threw a pick.

Given the defensive nature of BSU's administration and the fact the WAC sucks is it really hard to believe the Broncos won't be "protected" when/if necessary tonight?
