Blog link not working

Change the "a" to "all" and you'll see them. Looks as though you have click the recent post rather than the blog title to get in. Also just noticed the "Blogs" link on the menu bar cycles through the blogs apparently randomly.

Not sure what Clarity's been working on there, so I'm not going to mess with it for the nonce.

How is a blog subscription supposed to notify a user of a new post, if it does something like that?

I subscribed to OCBF's blog and was expecting a similar notification as occurs with a subscribed thread in my usercp. I did not receive that. I checked my email of record in case it notifies that way and that was a fail as well.

Thanks, Clarity. I can find the blogs I was just wondering about the subscription to the blog process. Subscriptions to threads causes them to pop up in my user cp when new posts are added. I figured the same thing would happen with the blog subscription and it didn't. I'm patient. I can wait. :biggrin:

Checking on that. I seem to get emails when people respond to my test post in the blogs, is your email address in the system valid?

While it's a work in progress, I figure the best way to give it a thorough test is to continue updating 2-3 times a week and making sure to have a drinking game for every game this season. This way, I will become a staple of the BP blogging community and when you get real bloggers hopefully you won't make me take my foul mouthed nonsense away!

Jelsoft has been working on a major upgrade for a while, I'll poke around and see if subscriptions are going to change.

Is ther a limit with the blog messages? I tried to make my post today:

Ok, so I have been going over this. Go Bucks? Sorry Todd? Go Terrelle? As a genuine fan of the kids and the team, it sucks when you see someone get you to the NC one year, then the next get the opportunity to ride pine. Dont get me wrong I am glad we won and I think there’s a brighter future for us now, but part of me feels for Boeckman, he did some amazing things last year.

The kid lived up to the hype, I am really happy about that, but please, don’t boo any of our students. There’s no funny punch line, I bleed scarlet and grey, don’t friggin boo our players!
The streak is over, I am sad.

No, this isn't about Notre Dame, it's about the team that beat down Virginia Tech and West Virginia. Seriously, I was so close to hopping on this bandwagon, I had a page saved with their stuff, I was going to by the shirt, hat, jacket, recliner, flag, the car, whatever... I was all about being "GO ECU, PIRATES RULE!!" Then, today, what happens? THE DAY AFTER TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY??? Where the fuck is the justice in that? Karma should have assured they would win, but no... my hopes and dreams are destroyed. Look, here's a tip for the rest of the country, on the week of "Talk like a Pirate Day" No team that has anything to do with Pirates can lose, this includes that Pittsburg baseball team, as well as the Raiders and the Buccaneers in the NFL. Show some damned respect or we will Keel-haul your sorry ass.

It's going to take me a few days, and a lot of beer, to recover from this loss. I may jump on a ship and sail around drinking rum, I don't know, it feels like someone reached through my rib cage and yanked my heart out of my chest.

Notre Dame still sucks

So, I am convinced, Charlie Weis doesn't actually watch film, which really surprises me. I figure this fat ass would look forward to any chance to sit down and just watch TV, but after today, I am confused. Maybe the guy has the Biggest Loser on Tivo and keeps trying to catch up, because he sure as fuck doesn't watch any game film. If he did he would have seen that Sparty is a 1 dimensional offense. Why even have corners? Sure, they threw the ball a few times, but really, they just ran Ringer over and over again. What the hell was that half time adjustment?

Player "Uhm coach, this is the same thing they have done all year"
Charlie "yeah, but I am a scheming genius and I would change things up if I was facing the great Notre Dame with me as head coach"

Charlie "Doctor says I need these for my leg, acl and mcl, the only cure for the combination is chicken wings and ranch dressing"

Has the fan base come to understand that this guy really can't coach? He took a team that Willingham loaded and then ran with it, combined with some of the most pathetic scheduling ever he looked like a genius. The only thing this guy is good for is making up new fat jokes. Notre Dame, you still suck, and you will continue to suck for the rest of the time this fat arrogant fuck is your coach, get used to it.

A Notre Dame fan said to me "Our biggest fear is being irrelevant in the big picture of college football" Bad news fuckhead, you've been irrelevant for 15 years, just you arrogant douchebags can't see that.

Tennessee V Florida lives up to my expectations
Well, it was the game I expected. Good news to the Vols, and bad news to the Bruins. The good news, Vols you suck and it’s confirmed, and for the Bruins, the bad news is that you didn’t upset anyone, you just beat someone who sucks more than you. Congrats, no more hearing about UCLA’s return to glory, they still suck. It was a good story though, they bring in a new coaching staff, and everything changes! It was almost like Notre Dame, so I was hoping they would have a good couple years followed by some of the worst years in history. Meh, I will take it, fUCLA.
Michigan’s best game this season!
I have to take my beatings when it comes, I thought for sure that Michigan was going to lose today. But they proved me wrong, Rich Rod put on the performance of his life, the stadium was silent, in awe. Congrats tsun, you didn't lose today.
