Black' NAACP leader outed as white woman

I wonder if she stands to be sued by Howard U.
They awarded her a full ride under the auspice that she was an African American woman. HU stands shoulder to shoulder with Spelman and Morehouse as the top historically black universities in the United States. I can't see them taking this lying down.

This article says that she was still being her white self while getting an MFA at Howard, and Wikipedia says that Howard merely assumed she was black during her application.

Don't forget the part where she teaches African American studies at a University, local leader of the NAACP chapter, appointed by Spokane Mayor to head a Police Commission, and alleges multiple incidents of death threats in the NAACP post box w/o any postage - meaning it could've only been placed there by a local Post Office employee or a NAACP affiliate with access to the box (ie: her).

Life is stranger than fiction.
