Hey it could be worse, T-virus is still out there somewhere (Washington I think).

As for Jones he can bite my ass. I dropped him a couple weeks back and he's still sucking hind tit. You know you are bad when I get pissed off and drop you from my fantasy team and you don't go on from there to contend for the triple crown/MVP.

I lived there for 3 years, but I never could stand the obnoxious Mets fans (the Mets were the better team at the time)....add to that when I finally really got into baseball we had moved to just north of Hagerstown, MD (which is to say we moved around a lot due to the military and civilian DOD jobs that tend to make a family move) because of my Dad's career so it was Orioles all the time. At that point (the late 80s), the Yankees sucked, it was all Ripken all the time in the area, and it wasn't like I was going to become a Blue Jays fan. :biggrin:

The fact Baltimore Orioles manager Dave Trembley is going to be fired is inevitable; the only question is when, a source told ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney.

Juan Samuel, the Orioles third base coach, is expected to be named the interim manager when a move is made, the source said.

His standing is in question series to series, and Baltimore has gotten wrecked in Yankee Stadium repeatedly this week. The O's have lost eight straight.

1] While the Orioles continue to make life tough for interim manager Juan Samuel, team management is looking for a full-time manager. Eric Wedge and Bobby Valentine (left, photo by AP) are rumored to be on the O?s radar, and MASN man Rick Dempsey has said he wants a shot at the job. (I?m partial to Valentine, mainly because his press conferences would be a blast.) The O?s need to take their time and make sure they find the right guy. 2010 is a wash.

They are 24 games out of first place already and it's June 16th.

Literally they could end up being nearly 60 games out of first. That's both amazing and amazingly pathetic.

At this point I'm almost cheering for them to be historically bad. Maybe that way something will actually change.
