Billboard Stupidity coming to Columbus

Tressel doesn't stike me as a coach who would dwell on this. He does micromanage everything and is very intune with what's going on, so I'll venture a guess he and the staff have caught wind of this, but if he were asked point blank on the topic he'd play it down with the standard company line.

The players, on the other hand, could use this as a motivating factor. Would they? I'll guess no, but it's legit. This years seniors were red-shirts on the 2002 team. So they could use this as motivation to prove they earned OSU a legit national title with their play on the field, regardless of whether or not some people perceive their previous championship as somehow being tainted.

why would the players care? Very few ere on that team. I doubt JT even knows about this. A lot of internet crap doesn't make it into the general public.

Read my post again. I suggested they wouldn't.

My point was that Naplesbuckeye brings up something that could be used as a legitimate motivating factor. I doubt it would be, but it could be, so his point is nonetheless valid.

I agree they won't care, however there are reports that they do have someone check the boards regularly... and gives an update with any pressing intel. I agree this is not of that variety, but I thought I'd clarify that they do at least pay attention (and probably laugh at most of it).

Can anyone think of worse fans overall than Miami? I know there's the bandwagon fans of USC and trashy ones in Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Penn St., but Miami fans are unintelligent, classless, and have no sense of history. They know in their hearts that they were lucky it even went to overtime and that the pass interference call was right.

Worse fans....those who can't get over it, or those who can't get over them not getting over it?

I don't think that OSU players would care much, for the same reason that I don't care much, namely that if you look in all the record books we'll be listed as national champ, not them. I'm shocked that the topic got this much discussion in this thread.
