Well, I can’t say anything about that... but what I can say is that it wasn’t exactly the best idea for the younger Spielman to matriculate in our sleepily little burb of Wheaton... sometimes staying close to home ain’t such a bad idea.

Edit: The fine young ladies of Wheaton College make those ASU girls look... well... pretty good.

Based on his comments, it's going to be a tough sell to get him to flip.

We had all the momentum coming out of his visit and the Rivals camp, but when the dust settled he claimed God helped him resist the pressure of going to Ohio State.

Doesn't sound like a very flippable commit, honestly. And we can't spend all our recruiting time and resources on a guy who plays a non-premium position, especially when there's still plenty of talented players left uncommited at the spot.
