Craig Powell is probably another name worth mentioning. LB in the neighborhood of 225lbs and we used to hear about how he was as fast as Robert Smith. (Sorry if I brought back bad memories to the Browns fans out there) I guess Brandon Saine has similar size and speed too that too.

Alonzo Spellman was many things. Mentally disturbed, yes. A physical freak, absolutely. Here is what you are looking at re the Zo man.

He looked like he could palm me easily
He wore an ankh that looked like it weighed at least 10 pounds

And the topper.... I don't know that he had Graves disease, but he did have the Marty Feldman type eyes.

A name to add to this list, and it's too bad we will never know what he could have done is Preston Harrison.

Cooper often called Preston Harrison the greatest athlete he ever coached. He hurt his groin muscle early in his career and never developed.

He was such a good athlete that despite not playing much due to this persistent groin injury he was drafted by the Chargers in the third round of the draft.

He was a QB recruit that was off the charts.

One former player I knew said this.

One day in the weight room Preston was going through his workout. One of the players asked if he could do a flip. He said he never tried then got up, cleared the area, and barely bending his knees did a full back flip first try no problem. Only it was more of a layout than a back flip. Think about it a man that tall doing this that easily.

I think Antoine Winfield deserves to at least have his name mentioned in this discussion. His measurables may not have been off the charts, but pound for pound, he packed as much wallop as any defensive player I can think of.

These start to give the idea for anyone who never saw him. Add in the fact that when he wasn't on meds for his bipolar disorder he really was fucking violently crazy and he gets my vote for all time first off the bus guy.
