I have misplaced my pants.
There's a difference between "running up the score" and "letting your players score points." If your first team offense is in the game all game long and you're throwing deep passes when you're already up by seven touchdowns is "running up the score." Putting 2nd, 3rd, and 4th team players in and having them run the ball 90% of the plays AND they're still scoring is "letting your players score points."
Running up the score is disrespectful to the opposing team and their fans and to football. I don't care how much trash-talking the other team has been doing, or an "upset" win they got last year - I won't support running up the score.
