Big Ten Tournament (May 20-23, Huntington Park)

Bless the B10 channel. Saw the game on tape-delay, and boy did the Buckeyes win ugly. I think they got most of their ribbies and the ball didn't leave the infield. Not quite what I'm used to reading about or seeing. Anyway, it was enough, and they were hustling around third, and into first trying to beat out a fielder's choice into a hit.

Winning ugly is the sign of a champion. Even if Wimmers wasn't 'dominating' he had enough stuff to win. Defense helped (that's why they put 7 players in the field behind the pitcher). Great win, too bad Minnie got upset by Indy, so on any given day.......

Finish strong Buckeyes, and fans, fill some of those empty seats I saw. There must have been one section that was full, because the camera always went there. But when it panned across the stadium, there were a bunch of empty seats.......

:gobucks3::gobucks4::banger: And Michigan still :scum4:

1 more for the Bucks in the 8th.

Got the first two batters on, but the Minny pitcher struck out the next two. The third single of the inning brought home 1, then another strikeout ended the inning. Needed to do a little more damage after getting the first two on, but the Bucks are still battling.

9-6 going to the bottom half of the inning, this is it. Go Bucks!

2 quick outs, then a double.

Bucks down to their final strike...foul, foul, ball, popped out. Final- 9-6 Gophers.

Minnesota will play Indiana in about 45 minutes. If the Gophers win, there will be another game tomorrow, if not, IU will be the Big 10 Tournament Champions.
