I went with Dials. The last five games have been the most important for Ohio State as far as making a run is concerned. Dials is our only legit post player and rebounder. He's had a double-double the last five games, averaging 19 pts/12 boards during that span.

The article above has it right. When there is no clear-cut winner, you go with the most important player on the best team. There is no runaway superstar here. The best team is Ohio State, and Terence Dials is the most important player. Therefore, my vote goes to him.

Ager put 26 on us last week, Brown put up 17 last week and 20 in the first game, and Horton had 15 in the first game and 12 yesterday. Just so you know.

Jamar Butler is a much better defender, IMO.

Not to discout Butler's D, or team defense, but these were high scoring guys that Foster was matched up on thoughout the big ten season.

Horton 12, 15 and this game he had 6 TO.

Agar 26, but also had 5 TO, he got a couple easy shots in fast break too, but in the first game he had only 2 pts in a double OT game and was held to 1-11 shooting.

Brown had 12 and 4 TO and 3 assists, also he only had 2 pts through the major part of the game and picked up his other points in garbage time. I know Butler was matched up with him quite a bit, but Foster was on him too.

I guess I am just a huge fan of Foster, b/c how he gives his body just to go get a loose ball. He is an all around player. He can put up points in a flurry, he can play great defense and turn a game around by getting a steal or just flat out shutting his guy down. He averages 4.5 rbs a game on a team that really needs that help from the guards sometimes.

For the people that say Brown for POY he was held down by Foster when he was on him, and in the first game against MSU he held the second leading scorer in the conference to 2 pts. in a double OT game.

I will have no problem with seeing the award go to Dials, b/c he has really picked it up the last 3 weeks, but if you back through the threads there were games when he was basically non-existant, and got beat up on the boards at Iowa, I believe??? This was also the game where he was big in the first half, but absolutely went away in the second half, scoring only two pts. to go with his 14 in the first half.

i went with tucker b/c i think they'd be lucky to go .500 without him. on another note i can't believe d. horton even gets mentioned for the mvp. yes, he has some good numbers but they never list his turnovers. in big ten play he averages 5.1 assists and 4.3 turnovers per game. i'll take jamar butler over horton any day of the week.
