Funny on that first episode of "Tailgate 48" when Urban Meyer was speaking to the hosts right after the final whistle. First thing he mentioned was the bad first quarter.

Show's not that bad in the condensed, 30-minute form. The new female host is kind of cute.

Don't think Omaha Steaks is sponsoring the show anymore.

Failure to Reach Agreement with Dish a blow to BTN

"As of September 14th, BTN?s distribution agreement with Dish expired despite our best efforts to finalize an agreement.



"We are disappointed that Dish does not see the value in the network in the same way that so many of their customers do, including Big Ten students, alumni, fans and viewers across the country who continue to pay Dish for a channel they no longer receive."

A blow to those with Dish. BTN isn't the greatest, but who cares at the end of the day you are watching Buckeye sports live!

How about the scene in Tailgate 48 where they were asking trivia questions of students in the library? They asked a coed What Buckeye Fullback scored 25 rushing touchdowns in 1975? the girl answered Archie Griffin. And get this - the host said "Correct" - I was yelling at the screen - Yeah I'm easily excitable........:biggrin:

The new girl has grown on me. I don't know how, but she went from ok to sexy in less than a week.

I have Dish here in Columbus and I no longer have the Big 10 network AND I don't have channel 10 (a local network) because Dish can't come to an agreement with Dispatch media.

It's ridiculous. As soon as I am able I'm switching to Uverse or Time Warner.

As there is from virtually every second tier sports network.

However unlike the first tier one, the highlights aren't missing from their sports broadcasts.
But I do think Dave, DiNardo, and Howard are the 2nd best group on tv. Their chemistry is fantastic.

Past me in the parking lot prior to the Miami game. Didn't know why they were filming her (at the time).

And...Top 3 girl on BTN so far (in six years).
