Dear BP,

Ummmmm... not sure how to say this so I'll just say it. I've found someone else. I have a new favorite web-site. It's not you, it's me.

You see, there's this new site called BTN2GO.COM. As you know the game against Akron was on ESPiN. In spite of that, my new favorite web-site has it available to watch, any time I want; and the quality is very-good.

I'm sure we can still spend a lot of time together, but it's not like actually watching the Buckeyes.

Sincerely,

DBB

Thanks DBB. It's working nicely. Apparently all you need is an account with whatever cable provider you have. (I have TWC.) To get an account, all I needed was my email address, phone number, and zip code. All you do is log in and watch whatever game you want.

...and Dear BTN:

PleaseOhPleaseOhPlease do NOT port this to Android. If I could access this on my Droid I would never get any work done which would cause me to lose my job and my family. I would continue to obsess over it, even watching while driving and would eventually die in a ball of fire. If you care about B1G fans you will not create an Android app for this.

That is all.

Where is the BTN2GO iPad app??? Anyone see this yet or k ow the release date? I'm hoping to have it to watch the game on Sat while traveling... I cant seem to find it in the app store...

I've been checking a few times a day since last week, and still no sign of it.

New apps show up daily, but usually there's a big dump of new apps on Thursdays, with the App Store's featured apps updated around 4PM.

I'm a little disappointed that they didn't have it ready to go for the start of the season, especially since they pulled and essentially gimped their football scoreboard app from last year.

Hope they have it soon, since we can't use the flash plug-in on the browser version of btn2go :(

Is it just me or is there a way to get the watch now list of games off the top of the screen when another game is playing?

There is definitely a way to do it, but I don't remember what it was.

I just remember fumbling with it for a minute before I got the list to disappear. I attributed the problem to my age.

Are you talking about a way to get rid of the list of all the games across the top of the page? On the bottom pop-up bar (which has controls for fast-forward, pause, volume, etc.) there's a button that says "Games". Click that bitch and the games go away.

The problem I was having was that if I clicked too much stuff, the resolution went from "really good" (not "very good" or "great", but certainly far, far better than "better than adequate") to "adequate". I figured that I needed to re-open the window and quit touching stuff. I also found a button in the explorer window (my work computer apparently doesn't have it) to the right of the navigation bar, that apparently pokes the hamster who runs my graphics. That sometimes fixed it.

Does anyone know if BTN2go.com streams the BTN.com only stuff? Like the olympic sports and some basketball games that are online only and you have to pay a subscription fee for? Would be nice to watch that stuff for free.

Problem one: I have Charter.
Problem two: I have Charter in southern California.
Problem three: I have Charter in southern California, and it is my only option.
Problem four: I have Charter in southern California, in one of the few areas where the BTN is not carried.
Problem five: I cannot access BTN2Go, because of problems one through four.

White people problems, I know... but FML.

I have a similar problem. I *can* get BTN where I live, but I can't muster the $50/mo to pay just for BTN. I wish they'd just get it over with and offer a $9.99/mo package or something that lets me subscribe to the BTN by itself.
