Big Ten Greatest Games

JXC

17-4 since 2001
BTN is playing a "Big Ten's Greatest Games" episode.

1983 Sugar Bowl: Penn State vs Georgia.

Which one is the Big Ten team? Does anybody else think this is kind of bogus?

I was saying the same thing when it was on last week. But it is pretty cool to be able to see Herschel Walker run. That dude was a beast.

I'm more concerned with the fact that 90% of the Big Ten's Greatest Games are tOSU losses.

If it was on last week, do they ever play the 2003 Fiesta Bowl?
Yeah, they played it before the season started. I've also seen the '06 TSUN game. Also, the ...'86 Iowa game. But most have been upsets with the Bucks on the wrong end. Probably a 3:1 ratio, that I've seen.

I hate when they show those games... I drink myself silly and get those games repressed to never recall them and like a swift trip to hell I see them on the BTN at times. In my mind the Buckeyes have never lost a game in 30 years until ESPN classic and now the BTN kick me in my nut$ to bring back those horrible days.

Yeah, I'm glad it's that way though. If we were on the winning side of that ratio it would mean that we sucked, or were not dominant in the Big 10, and our wins were the "greatest games" because they were sizable upsets. :)

Every thread I go in, you're in it. Bastard.

I think they've also shown the '84 Illinois game...

Like DBB said earlier this week..

A win over tOSU is a signature win for a year or more for the rest of the conference... but for tOSU a win is just another Saturday.

I agree, but I still would think one of the conferences two flagship programs would be on the winning side of more than a couple of it's "Greatest Games". Btw, Northwestern beating PSU 21-10 is now considered one of the Big Ten's greatest games. It's on tonight. :roll1:
