I'm torn between Sampson's track record of shady recruiting and the mess Dick Rod has made in such a short amount of time. It's kind of like asking which is more blue, the sky or the ocean.

With those being too close to call, I will vote based on which school I despise more. Chalk this one up for Dick Rod.

Voted for rr, because it's football which seems to get more national attention. I honestly think Sampson is worse with his proven recruiting violations and his throwing his assistant coach under the bus before this year.

I guess it's rr, because he is just so easy to dislike.

Add Beilein to the equation, and just make it "whoever Bill Martin hires". The man is a horrible AD. It'sd you can judge a manager by the quality of the people they hire. Tressel and Matta vs. Rodriguez and Beilein? Wow...

I went with Sampson just because he was tainted when IU hired him and RichRod hasn't coached a BT game yet.

They both make me even more appreciative of Tressel and Matta. :osu:

WTF is Sampson? The IU basketball coach? How can you compare a basketball coach to a football coach given how different the two worlds are regarding retention before draft elgibility and recruiting classes of four or five compared with twenty or more?
