So Purdue had the Big Ten Player of the Year, the Coach of the Year, the Defensive Player of the Year, and two players who are First Team all-Big Ten (and the only other player with 2 first-teammers was 3rd-place Wisconsin). Clearly Purdue must have won the Big Ten easily this year. Wait, you mean they lost it by 2 games? No [Mark May]. Thanks for playing, Purdue, here are your consolation prizes. Voters had Purdue on a pedestal, but the trophy was in OSU's arms.
Ohio State basically obliterates the rest of the league, and has only one first-teamer. So I'm thinking our coach must have been voted Coach of the Year. It's kind of a no-brainer, right?

I guess leading a team to #1 in the country after losing the NPOY pales in comparison to leading a team with two All-Americans (including conference POY) to 2nd place in the BIG.
