How did they determine this BS?

Definitely these teams belong:

Bama
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Maybe Clemson but it is only based off their recent success.

The other teams are in and out of shitty to good to great or just shitty in the case of TTUN and Nebraska.

The fans of these teams won't like it when the parity in schedules turns their normal 10-11 win seasons into 7 win seasons or worse. The entire seasonal format would need to be changed and college football is too regional so what will UK and Arkansas fans have to cheer for if they can't yell SEC SEC SEC and claim Ohio State wouldn't win a game if they were in the SEC?

Just sayin': scUM is NOT a "Super League Team", for that matter neither is Corn or Auburn.......:roll1:

I think the fan bases that could be most annoyed by this are Texas and Penn State. USC might have the best argument for being included. Miami, Florida State, Tennessee, and aTm would be annoyed but wouldn’t have a solid argument.

Oregon is the least justifiable, other than the Nike factor they haven’t earned something like this.

But it’s just meaningless off-season conversation.

There's a row you can't see on there that includes all 3 of Ped State, UT, and USC.

They're trying to create interest to sell subscriptions too.

If the guy (i.e. Andy Staples) did any thinking he would have 16 teams in lieu of just 15 so you could have two 8 team divisions with a Championship Game.

Oregon over USC? Not much of a student of history if you make that call.

USC was included too, you might have missed the bottom 3:

Oregon? Talk about recency bias. Their all-time winning percentage is .570.

Bleepin' Tennessee is .671, they have 6 NCs compared to 0 for the Ducks, 177 more wins, and 3 more conference championships. LSU puts the Ducks to shame as well.

Someone was trying too hard to include the PAC 12.

Call me crazy, but Andy's list needs more western teams.

Personally, I might include Washington ahead of Nebraska. That's not a dig at the B1G. I just think they've been more relevant over the past 20 years than NU.
I remain 100% open to conversion if you have an argument open to change my mind.

From 1962 to 2001, Nebraska was 398-78-5 (.833 win pct), which was by far the best record in FBS (Penn State was second with a record of 354-110-3; .761 win pct). Nebraska also had 5 NCs during that stretch. Based on that amazing run, Nebraska has obtained "blue blood" status in CFB.

From 2002 to 2020, Nebraska is 141-99 (.5875 win pct), which is the 36th best winning percentage in FBS behind such powerhouses as Missouri, Louisville, and Houston. Nebraska is a dead program and will be so for the foreseeable future. They do not belong in any current Super League.

Wisconsin was a garbage program until the early 1990s (.537 win pct), and was especially bad from 1963 to 1992 (.381 win pct), but since 1993 they have a .709 win pct (9th best in FBS) with 5 Big Ten championships. I'm not sure that Wisky is my idea of a Super League team, but they're a Hell of a lot better choice than Nebraska (at least if you're going to form your league based on recent success and not historical success).

Washington won their only NC in 1991 (split with Miami); since then, they are 197-153-1 (.563 win pct), which is 39th best in FBS (right between Texas Tech and Boston College). They are basically Nebraska without the glorious past.

So replace Nebraska with Wisconsin ... or do the more sensible thing and cut the Super League down to ten teams (Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Southern Cal).
