I like UC's coach. Seems down to earth.

Needless to say the UC fans hate him and want him gone yesterday because he isn't a giant douche with a win at all costs mentality like their beloved Thuggy. I'm actually happy to see UC do well in the tournament because it means Cronin will get another year.

Agreed, our best shot is for Dookie to choke the ACC tourney while we roll the Big Ten tourney.

Gotta figure Can's Ass and Can Tuckee will get 2...someone from the Big East I think will get one as well, and I don't think Huggie Bear jumps that high. So that leaves DOOK Vitale choking it away and us or Purdon't stepping up.

Georgetown has Boeheim's # in the tournament again...damn, this is a flashback to the 80's for me.

Big difference now. There's another Roman numeral behind the name of GTown's coach.

Interesting stat that the 'Cuse is now 0-6 in winning the Big East Tournament when they're the #1 conference seed in it.

kind of rough when your first game as a 1 seed is against the #22 team in the country.

The Big East set that up when they went to the 5-day tournament, with only the bottom 8 teams playing on Tuesday, seeds 5-8 starting on Wednesday, and the top 4 resting until Thursday.

It allows the teams with a decent chance to make the final 4 to not have to play more than 3 conference tournament games, just like the other conferences. But they don't get a cupcake in the first game.

The loss will allow Cuse to rest their legs, and Boeheim gets a full week to convince them that they need to play hard for 40 minutes every game.

Is Onuaku out for the NCAA tournament? If so, that definitely hurts, but to take away their #1 seed (like Lavin is saying is a possibility) is stupid.

Lavin is a shitfuck. Unless West Virginia wins the BE tourney, I can't see any discussion of SU not being a 1, quite honestly.

Lavin is a fucking idiot. They were saying it during the broadcast and it was stupid then.

Regardless of how the BE tourney is set up, Georgetown as an 8 seed is ranked #22 in the country. With the old set up, they still would have played Syracuse after a bye week. Just an oddity of the rankings.....as I'm watching the #4 seed play a weaker team. Whatever.

I said before the BE tourney started I wouldn't mind if Syracuse took a seat in the early rounds just to rest up and get healty ( :smash: )....but losing to Georgetown sucks.
