Betting the NCAA tournament . . .

I am going to Vegas for the first weekend of the NCAA tournament. I'm planning to do some betting, but am having a lot of trouble finding information about past years' lines (I want to look for trends from past years) or deciding whether I want to try to follow a system or just go with my gut. Does anyone have suggestions for successfully betting the tourney or, for that matter, recommendations for preferred sports books or loose slot casinos?

There are no guarantees in betting on the NCAA tournament, but this is something I use:

If there is a 5/12 or 4/13 game where the underdog plays a slowdown game and the spread is above 10, it's a decent bet.
