I'm surprised that Arkansas didn't make the list. Darren McFadden, Casey Dick, and Feliz Jones are a very good trio. McFadden may be the (before the season starts) favorite to win the Heisman. The Arkansas trio may not be the overall best, but they have to be better than some other school's three players that did make the list.

The West Virginia trio may be #1. I hate to say it, but the scUM trio is probably #2.

I agree. Felix Jones is ridiculous.

I think Cal's trio should get some mention in there as well. If I had to take Cal or scums trio I would take Cal's. I'm not sold on Henne even though Hart and Manningham are pretty tough. I think Forsett will pick up where Lynch left off and Jackson might be the best WR in the country this year. Good list.

I think Arkansas isn't on the list because (1) Casey Dick isn't that caliber and (2) one of the group has to be a WR or TE. Of course, you could make the argument that Jones and McFadden are versatile enough to qualify at receiver.

Agreed. That's why I didn't think Arkansas was included.
Also Michigan does have a very good trio and should have an amazing offense as long as Hart stays healthy and they find a good backup rb. If Hart goes down so does Michigan. JMO.

Not saying these guys are the best, and Hawaii's offense doesn't fit Rivals' criteria, but Colt Brennan (QB), Davone Bess (SB), and Jason Rivers (SE) deserve some mention. Yes, their stats will be inflated due to June Jones calling the plays, and, unfortunately, UH's athletic director has been unable to put together a quality schedule, but these guys are fine football players. Brennan will need some O-linemen to step up and protect, but when he's hot, UH is tough to stop. Bess is a smaller, quicker type of inside receiver who has good hands, can take a hit, and does a good job of reading coverages. Rivers is a 6'2" wide-out, who just makes big plays. He's not a blazer, but he's fast enough. He had a breakout game in the bowl game, and big things are expected. If UH can produce a semblance of a running game, you might hear about these guys a little more, later in the year.

Totally agreed. These guys can flat out move the ball and are a blast to watch.

When Brennan is hot and he's given even a decent amount of time to throw, UH is nearly unstoppable. Give Colt 2.5-3 seconds consistently and UH will pick apart any defense...
