I'd have to say hockey. I've been to games before but it had been awhile until I saw the Penguins yesterday. Pretty amazing to see in person - much better than the TV. You really get to see the intensity on the ice when they check each other into the boards. Also, it's nice to see plays develop - spotting the guy open in the front of the net, seeing the defensemen trailing the play open for a snapshot.
I don't think you get much more out of a game by seeing it in person in the other sports. Except maybe baseball with the whole "I'm outdoors in the summertime pigging out" feeling. Watching football games or BB games when you don't care about teams doesn't add much.
