Best sport to see in person when you don't care about the teams...

I'd have to say hockey. I've been to games before but it had been awhile until I saw the Penguins yesterday. Pretty amazing to see in person - much better than the TV. You really get to see the intensity on the ice when they check each other into the boards. Also, it's nice to see plays develop - spotting the guy open in the front of the net, seeing the defensemen trailing the play open for a snapshot.
I don't think you get much more out of a game by seeing it in person in the other sports. Except maybe baseball with the whole "I'm outdoors in the summertime pigging out" feeling. Watching football games or BB games when you don't care about teams doesn't add much.

Oh yeah, Sidney Crosby is the shit.

Little League Baseball. It is good for you to see something pure and unadulterated by money. I am speaking of the local teams not the big sponsored all star teams with "12" year old pitchers from Puerto Rico that have to shave before the game.

While I love going to hockey and football games, I'd have to say my favorite preofessional sport to see in person is basketball. While I'm not a big NBA fan, seeing those guys close and in person is pretty incredible.

If it's college sports, I'd say football. There's nothing quite like the experience of college football regardless of who is playing.
