I've recently canceled my subscription to one of these sites...

It came about because the worship of one particular expert is out of control and opposing views are ridiculed, deleted, or locked even when he's not making sense or been proven wrong.

Every other thread seems to turn into a cat fight and the moderators kick people off or delete the thread to assert themselves then brag about it.
(on an internet football board non the less)

On top of this, the moderators liked to assert their political and religious views on the other board members from time to time.

...it got old.

I want to read about FOOTBALL and I want to analyze the team openly.
Is that too much to ask for?


What's your favorite pay site and why?

In all honesty, i'd take this FREE site over any of those PAY sites any day of the week and twice on Saturday.

True dat - but BP is much more satisfying if you turn it into a "pay site" by contributing to the Spring Drive.

Do that and bring your search to an end.

ok admins, fess up. which one of you have been charging this poor guy to use the political convo forum?

seriously though, bp is probably the best forum i have been apart of period. the info in the recruiting forum is pretty solid and the mods are excellent. nothing like having the ability to pay what you think the information provided is worth via donating rather than a bill. my biased recommendation would be to hang around here for a while to see what you think before you hit up a pay site.

No, it was funny and it was only $20. And what's more it was probably a better (and cheaper) screw than the one you would have gotten had you joined the (now defunct) Scarlet & Gray pay site. :biggrin:
