I wouldn't say it's disgusting, but I would never get it if not for the deal. Have you ever had it outside of the Crackron area? Maybe it is better in Cbus.
tommy's and grandad's must have gone downhill the last few years because i remember their pizzas being really good. i used to order from grandad's all the time (i lived in the 'view). my favorite pizza was from figlio. that's biased of me to say; i worked there. nonetheless, their pizza is exceptional, and their pasta is the best in columbus.buckeyeboy;713318; said:Tommy's is overrated IMO. Grandad's (at W. 3rd and Northwest Blvd.) is one of the worst pizza places at which I've ever eaten.

King's (on Smith Place) isn't bad, and it's a place I imagine many people haven't tried. Tommy's is overrated IMO. yeah, rotolo's is in grandview, but it's on fifth a little bit closer to marble cliff. i had pizza there a couple times. it was good, but i wasn't terribly impressed. i've heard from many, though, that it's great pizza, so perhaps i just caught them when they were off.gregorylee;713380; said:Is Rotolo's still over there?
oh, sure. that's right across the street from figlio. i've had their pizza couple times. it's been a few years, so i can't recall just how good it was. really, though, if you're looking for more of a specialty pie, you should try figlio. you can still get the standard pizza or make your own, but they have some really good signature pizzas. as i mentioned before, the waitresses are darn cute, too. at least they were when i worked there. in fact, the owner would place ads in the lantern for "smart, hardworking, and attractive waitresses." the ads worked. for a while, i dated a girl who worked with me. this girl was sweet, and she looked like sex. you know the type? some girls just look like sex.buckeyeboy;713414; said:Buckguy--you seem to know Grandview pretty well. Have you ever tried that place (I think the name might be Panzera's, but I could be wrong) that is on Grandview Ave. right across the street from Domino's?
