"Barkin' up the wrong tree"
Driving to work today, I was listening to Mike and Mike as they interviewed a former governor of New Jersey (Rich Codley) about the quickly deteriorating situation with Rutgers and their new AD.

As it stands now - she may never take the job due to her previous actions at UT, but that's not the point of this thread.

I'm curious as to whom Buckeye Fans rate as the top AD in the B1G?
Why?

You listed Eichorst because he's the current Nebraska AD, but he's been on the job for just a few months. Way too soon to tell how he'll turn out. So far he's been almost entirely invisible in the role.

EDIT - and because of that, I voted "Just win"

I guess I should include this for reference - a list of their salaries in ascending order.

Also - does Northwestern not have an AD? Did they incorporate his role into student services like Vanderbilt?

Jim Phillips is "Vice President for Athletics & Recreation" at NW

Pretty impressive resume at NW, he could definitely be in the discussion.

Fair point. I took the list directly from the website and it only included salary and not tenure. Since he's #2 in compensation - he had better deliver some results soon...

I'm sorry. Really. Can't get Sailboat Willie out of my head. All time best AD ever, anywhere (link). Sorry, Andy. Really sorry.

Fred Glass is a pretty cool guy. Works hard across the board to integrate and maintain a successful family atmosphere of athletics for all sports.
Hoosiers going to the College World Series.

Soccer National Champs. [Disappointing] Sweet 16. Heck, maybe even fielding an below average football team this season? Certainly improved attendance. Good APR.

The guy has a plan and does work to get it done.
