I decided to start this because today my daughter had her Home Coming...and she made Home Coming QUEEN!!!!!!!WOO HOO


I am so proud of her but I started thinking back to my High School years and I wondered what the best memory was... I cant remember one

Congratulations to your daughter!

I'd say graduation was the best memory. :) But the day before graduation my teammates and I won the state championship in softball. That was pretty cool.

Getting caught during a lil escapade during lunch my sophomore year. While talking to the dean and talking to my parents about it I was still just laughing the whole time. Campus Security just opened the car door on us. :lol:

Congrats to her! But to be honest... I just don't feel right leaving "best memories of high school" stories in a thread started by the mom of a current home coming queen. You've still got a few more months to get her out of the house before I tell you those stories :wink:

And then I'll hold off a couple more years to give you the Morrill Tower stories :)

You never struck me as a softball player, Sushi.

My best memories, as you can imagine since I went to high school in Daytona, are from many Spring Break parties. What I can remember of them anyway

Having art and a story published in the literary magazine thing. Acting as the maid in the production of "Frankenstein" even tho I wasn't in the drama class or club. Commanding the JROTC competition marching squad, even tho we totally sucked. Winning a JROTC scholarship even tho it was only for $400. And graduating from the "Honors" program that allowed me to wear a special colored tassel and get a gold sticker on my diploma.
