I agree. I don't think they would have been anywhere near the Rose Bowl after the 2001 season if it wasn't for him. They won a lot of football games simply because he was on the field. I give the edge to VY over anyone this decade by a good margin, but I definitely recognize how great of a player Crouch was and how much that Nebraska team relied on him.
