Anybody not picking American should leave the country now! Go to Monterey, or Gouda, or Switzerland, or Muensterville, or any other place that they make cheese that isn't in America.

Like Wisconsin.

Buttered bread with cheese in the skillet is the way to go... however I have an ex-girlfriend that would toast bread, put cheese inbetween the bread, and zap it in the microwave... wasn't bad, however not near as good as the "proper" way to cook it:biggrin:

Speaking of grilled cheese...does anyone here put other things besides cheese on the sandwich?

The first time my wife made a grilled cheese sandwich for me, I bit into it and there was slices of pickel in it. I was ticked that she ruined it, but she thinks it is a necessity. Where do people learn things like this.
