Speaking of grilled cheese...does anyone here put other things besides cheese on the sandwich?

The first time my wife made a grilled cheese sandwich for me, I bit into it and there was slices of pickel in it. I was ticked that she ruined it, but she thinks it is a necessity. Where do people learn things like this.

After you threw up on her I'm sure she never did that again.

I just had meunster and american. You do one slice of meunster and half a slice of american on each sandwhich. It's really good. You all should try one. Meunster cheese is just a graet cheese.

This was my halftime thoughts...grilled cheese. I mean...dammit...whenever the Buckeyes are losing, I just think about Grilled Cheese...and everything seems okay. I wish I had a grilled cheese right now. But too many grilled cheeses and then you get fat. Boooooooooo.

What is your drink of chioce with your grilled cheese? I drink milk...is that weird? Sometimes also sprite.

Buttered bread with cheese in the skillet is the way to go... however I have an ex-girlfriend that would toast bread, put cheese inbetween the bread, and zap it in the microwave... wasn't bad, however not near as good as the "proper" way to cook it:biggrin:

I'm guessing that ex-gf won't be the next Julia Child.
