Here are the point totals for the poll AS OF TODAY. This could change of course by the end of the regular scedule. No one got any ties right so far.
I just thought you would like to see.

Well, it's obvious that things went wacky this season in the Big Ten when the 2 most knowledgeable basketball posters have the lowest scores:wink:

I'd like to suggest a different scoring system for next year. Rather than just scoring for exact hits, we'd give points for every spot away from the predicted finish for each team, and the low score wins. So my prediction (from above) would work like this (the only tie right now is a 3-way for 5-6-7, so they all score 6.0):

I think it's a better way of dealing with ties, and it makes everybody's prediction for each team count. Sorry I didn't suggest it 2 months ago. :tongue2:

For example, since I predicted Illinois in a 2-way tie for 5th, and right now they're in a 3-way tie, I don't get a bonus point.

Also, I had Illinois in a tie for 5th, and right now that's where they are. I predicted a 2-way tie, and they're in a 3-way tie. If that doesn't score a bonus point, it was hard to understand how the bonus points for ties worked.
