When we had our daughter, was going to name her Carmen. However, was nixed by my wife (an Okie Sooner), so named her Haley. Couldn't have another, but if it was a boy, was going to work 'Woodie' in there some how. Not sure Woodrow would have flown with the missus, but it didn't become an issue. Great luck with the Buckeye lad or lassie.

How Ironic... After all of this we are having the baby at the hospital at UM.

The wife and i ended up with the name Cayman Cindy. The wife thought we could get into a little trouble if we had a Buckeye name.

I have a friend with the last name Gray and I've already suggested to them if they have a girl to name her Scarlet Ann.

After all this the best you could do was name her after a semi-aquatic reptile? I guess it's poetic justice that a girl born at the UM hospital should be named after a reptile.

Buckeye Boy Names

During delivery of our first boy my wife was a bit preeclamptic and had to have mag sulfate. She was a bit woozy from the meds and I knew that we were going to name the boy Nicholas... but when it came time to get all official I suggested an alternate spelling:

Nicklaus

Well, suffice it to say, she wasn't woozy enough. Nicholas it was.

Either way, just turning six this January the kid can hit a golf ball 80 yards... and that's no joke.

Its funny that when my name gets googled, this in one of the things that come up. I knew Orlas and he was an awesome man, and a great Buckeye fan.
