Bengals at Ravens(-8.5)

I'm sure Bengals fans are pissed. but it was inconclusive at best IMO.

They didn't even call it a fumble on the live play.

Actually the ref who was right in front of the play did call it a fumble and followed Nduke to the endzone. After a conference with the other fucksticks who were not right in front of the play it was ruled he was down.

I feel like I have every week this season...we are winning the game everywhere but on the scoreboard. Fumbles, picks, terrible play calling in the redzone...as everyone else has said, it just seems like every great play made is met with an exceedingly terrible one. I'm trying to keep my temper steady though, considering how the Bengals have been playing in the second half this season.

The Bengals are playing a good game. They've made a couple mistakes. If I weren't watching this game I'd think they looked like last year's Lions after reading your comments. They're outplaying the Ravens.

thats my point

they are outplaying them, but keep fucking up in one way or another to keep points off of the board

the terrible red zone play calling has been an issue all season

last week on the game tying drive they had a similar situation, and throw 3 straight passes from inside the 5 and end up getting it on 4th down

there is no reason NOT to run Benson from 1st and goal at the 4, he has been moving the ball decently all game so far

Exactly, they didn't call it a fumble on the live play because it was too bang bang. But, that's why we have replay. And when that play is reviewed, it is a very easy call. The ball begins to move/change position (e.g. fumble) before his knee touches. I'm with Bluechillj, sort of. You give the job of reviewing the play to someone who did not go to high school with Chic Harley. An official from the league is there to interpret the rules as they apply to the call.

Can't watch the game...instead I get to see Jamarcus Russell in all his greatness.......have the Bengals really dropped two passes in the endzone?

One was a tough catch in the endzone, but still probably should've been caught.

The second pass.. I could've caught it. Nobody within 10 yards of Coats and it looked like he just shot his hands out at the last second and didn't make a great effort to catch it. Would've been a TD for sure. Kind of looked like he didn't see the ball until the last second or something.

You're a bengals fan correct? I rest my case

I'd be pissed if it happened to the Browns. As it is, that FG last week was no good.

But that doesn't matter now, and that fumble (or the fumble that wasn't) didn't mean anything.

Besides that, he would have been down by contact at the 25 even if it WAS a fumble, which it wasn't.
