That rule needs changed... If you possess the ball CROSSING THE FUCKING PLANE, it's a TD, the play is dead, and it doesn't fucking matter what he does with the ball after that point.

No clue how this ends up being a TD. SAME EXACT situation.

Ball Crosses line in possession, player is tackled, loses ball...TD in San Fran. Incomplete in Baltimore.

Also was a crazy call in the SF game where Smith threw a 15 yard incompletion...backwards. Yes, it was an incompletion, backwards- not a lateral, apparently.
