Bengals at Colts(-3.5)

This game shows why the Bengals won't go anywhere in the playoffs--their offense is mediocre and their defense is downright horrible.

No their offense isn't mediocre... Their second string line is HORRIBLE. Put all the vets in there and we have a little different game (no early fumble, and less pressure)... The defense needs help (new linemen, no more Smith), the secondary is fine.. They just need a new coordinator. The linebackers will have some more help next season with Thurman, and HOPEFULLY Pollack in the near future (next couple seasons).. It is still possible he can play football.

As for now, it's time to pack it up and prepare for next year... I don't even want to see the Bengals in the post season.. It'll save some embarrassment for themselves and their fans. Hopefully next season will be a different story.. Thank GOD i have the Buckeyes to fall back on in rough times...

Hrm... I don't know, I think they have a good chance considering the gaping HOLES in every team in the afc.

Patriots = Too many turn overs.
Colts = No Run defense, if they get a team with a good running game they are going to have issues.
Ravens = What's "offense" mean?
Chargers = Oh yeah, what's their coaches record in playoff games? 5-12. Oh yeah, and if the Bengals didn't have that enormous choke job against these guys they would be sitting in third instead of first.

If they can get past that first team, they have a pretty good chance of doing some damage. Who knows though, I gave up on the bengals after I moved out of Ohio, I got tired of having my heart broken by them :( Now I guess I am a Chargers fan, I go to their games and tailgate but I always watch the inevitable collapse when they have any success, just like the bengals :(

I am done betting on pro games!!
NFL games are a terrible thing to bet on... way too many surprises due to overlooked parity.

That's the "gaping hole" in the Chargers? Lewis hasn't even won a game... that sort of cancels out any supposed advantage.
Colts = No Run defense, if they get a team with a good running game they are going to have issues.
I guess you're assuming another team knocks off the Colts? They seemed to have their hands full with Indy despite no Stokley or Clark.

Yes, I think that is the gaping hole in the chargers, their coach chokes. (Mind you, I am a fan of theirs, just a realistic one, I think they are out based on Martys past, would be nice if I am wrong, but I doubt I am)

With a little luck, it could very easily work like this, Bengals knock off the Ravens, Pats knocks off the Jets. Bengals go in as lowest seed, they play #1, San Diego, Pats Knock off Indy. Now you have a good chance at the AFC championship game.
