Bengals at Chargers(-6.5)

Every post you've had on this site has been extremely disrespectful about a man who recently died, I guarantee your stay here won't be long if this continues. I (and any other sane person on here) will admit that he wasn't a saint, but he was a father and a friend to people. You look at him and see a thug, I look and see a man, albeit, one with a troubled past. You don't like him? Fine, I have no problems with that, but keep the disrespect to yourself.

 He's allowed to disrespect anyone he likes except Buckeyes.

I'm not happy Slim died, but I'll not waste my time feeling sorry for him. I'm sorry for Chad and Slim's children...though who knows, they may be better off having the advantages that come with what wealth he accumulated without the poor role model around to fuck them up.

Really disheartening loss, but at least they showed they can play with the best of them after being owned by Minnesota. Let's destroy KC and get some momentum heading into the first week of playoffs.

1st-10, SD19 2:34 CIN committed 6 yard penalty

1st-16, SD25 2:32 C. Palmer passed to A. Caldwell to the left for 20 yard loss. A. Caldwell fumbled. C. Palmer recovered fumble

that sequence was the back breaker, you cant expect to self destruct in the red zone and settle for field goals and beat a team like San Diego

I'm sorry that we don't agree on this, I realize he fucked up a lot but his last arrest was a year and a half ago, when he got cut by the Bengals. Since being re-signed he's stayed out of trouble. I'd say he turned things around.

Saying the kids may be better off now that their father is gone a little extreme don't you think? He's had issues with the law but I've never heard a single story of him being a bad father so I have to believe he was good to his kids.

This guy joins our site and his first two comments were talking harshly about a man who had died only a few days before he joined, you don't think him continuing this would be grounds for a ban? That's your opinion and I respect that. It's not like either one of us would be directly responsible for him getting banned anyway so this is irrelevant.

What part of him being in the back of his girl's truck while she was fleeing was "turning his life around"?

Multiple arrests while you are a father is being a bad fucking father.

Not even a little bit. Unless he went after a mod/admin or a Buckeye. Chris Henry, to my knowledge, was not a mod or admin. I know he wasn't a Buckeye.

Exactly. I don't understand how someone can read the story of how he died and in the next breath say "But he was turning his life around." No he wasn't. And that's why he died.

People die every day--people who lived honorable lives, and were far better individuals than Chris Henry was. We just don't know about them because they aren't good at catching footballs.

People in relationships get into arguments sometimes. He had a lot of feelings for this girl and made a spur of the moment bad decision, albeit a VERY bad decision but this was fueled by a bunch of emotions. I don't think that should eliminate the progress he was making trying to get his respect back. Give him a free pass? No. Understandable? Yes.

Multiple arrests while you are a father is being a bad [censored]ing father.
I was speaking strictly on the matter of how he treated his kids. (ex. Neglect, breaking laws in their presence) As far as I know he wasn't a bad father in that regard.

Alright, those are the set rules, but if a mod/admin feels that what a person is saying is offensive or bashing to a point they are allowed to ban anyone they want.

Despite the loss the Bengals impressed me today. After last week I figured there was no way this team could do anything in the playoffs. Not if they can beat KC and get in, I think they could (not saying they will) beat anybody.

But at least after this week the "inspirational" nonsense about Henry will die down. Some Bengal fans on the boards talk about him looking down fom heaven. Henry in heaven? LOL.

How do you know what his feelings for her were? You make assumptions to help your point, but they are still assumptions. You don't have any fucking clue how he felt about her. His poor decision making has fucked him SEVERAL times before. This time, his stupidity cost him his life.

As far as I know, he beat his kids and raped his daughters friends at a birthday sleep over. I can play that game too. Someone who breaks laws on multiple occasions isn't likely to only act a fucking fool while the kids are staying over at their grandmothers.

He WAS a bad father in the regard that daddy went to jail despite having MILLIONS of reasons to not do the shit that landed him there. I'm not even counting the three most important reasons the guy should've kept his filthy nose clean, his children.

In what reality does being a punk and getting arrested not make you, in the very least, a jerk ass dad? He was neglectfull while serving time...by definition.

I can bash any non-buckeye as much as I fucking want. I'd be willing to bet that not one mod, despite their personal objections, would ban me for doing so.
