Bengals at Browns(-2.5)

This post illustrates perfectly why it's hard for me to root against the Browns when playing the Bungles, regardless of the stakes.

Ken Dorsey may rival Spurgeon Wynn as the worst QB to ever take snaps for the Browns.
I really wish you wouldn't haven't reminded me of Wynn:!. He actually might have been better than Dorsey. I have never been so embarrassed by a Browns team in all of my life and that goes back to the days of Marion Motley.
Browns on the other hand have a lot of good players with a lot of ability...but they aren't winners. See Edwards, Winslow, and yes Brady Quinn. Edwards may be the most dissapointing player in the NFL.
JXC--I would like for you to tell me who are all these "good players with a lot of ability" that the Browns have that are not winners. We certainly don't have any of them in the defensive backfield or at linebacker and we really only have one DL. I'm also beginning to wonder how many physical OL that the Browns have. They certainly can run block very well.

well, you certainly aren't going to establish a run game with Ken Dorsey at QB. Trying to establish anything with Ken Dorsey at QB is an exercise in futility.

Just get to the draft please. And please hire a coach with an enormous stick up his ass. I want players bitching all pre-season about how tired and sore they are.

I know that. I never said that Dorsey was our answer but if you ever saw Spurgeon Wynn play for the Browns it might have been a toss up.

We need to get to the draft as soon as possible with a new coach and possibly even a new GM.

Getting shut out by a team with 2 wins and 12 losses.
And Cleveland fans thought they had a playoff shot this year. :slappy: Eh, at least they never cease to be amusing...

most rational fans saw a .500 season...I know NF and I both called a disappointing year.

I laughed myself at all of the callers on the Lance McAllister show that thought TJ, CHad, and Carson were going to lead the Bengals to he playoffs....:slappy:

Who is the Browns' 4th string QB?
The guy behind Dorsey is Bruce Grad.... He graduated from Toledo about 3 years ago and was a fairly decent MAC but has never made it in the NFL. I would have rather seen Joshua Gribbs be the backup and just let Dorsey sit on the bench.

This team is a flat out disgrace. Crennel and his whole staff should be dismissed immediately. I wouldn't pay any of the fucking players at this point either. I honestly think these schlubs would lose to the '00 version of the Browns. I called a disappointing season, I never really thought they'd make the playoffs, but this is pathetic. In the offseason, they need to listen to trades for the entire roster, save for Joe Thomas,Shaun Rogers and Josh Cribbs. Anybody else should be had by the highest bidder.

then I don't know any rational Browns fans. The many I know were talking about dethroning the Steelers as division champs. Not one of them thought missing the playoffs was in the realm of possibilities. The expectations most fans seemed to have was 10+ wins....

Most Browns fans aren't rational. I know I saw a much more difficult schedule and an awful secondary. I saw how DA played the last month of 2007. I knew it was gonna be a rough season. By rough season, I thought 7-9, maybe 6-10 at worst. Not this horse abortion.

Wow. I actually sat through that pillow fight.

The only organization worse than the Bengals is the Cleveland Browns at this point.

I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel for either of these pathetic teams. Horrible football on both sides.

I agree with the above poster. They should withhold paychecks for this week for both teams.
