Bengals(-9.5) vs. Raiders

Cinci will win those games.

This was a classic let down game. Big win last week, cross country trip. The Eagles did the same thing in Oakland earlier this year.

No coincidence the Steelers lost at KC today, too. Last week's game took a lot out of both teams, but Cinci is still in the driver's seat.

Bingo. Bengals always have struggled going out to the west coast. Let Down game, vs a backup qb. Bengals alwys give up bei games to back ups for some reason.

Next week they come back beat cleveland and we are all good again.

...and that fucker was drafted before Troy?

He was drafted before everybody.

Some of you guys have zero faith in the Bengals. Aside from that fumble, they've been pretty incredible at winning games in the end. I don't think this is the same Bengals team that would roll over. This is coming from a non-Bengals fan. I don't really give a shit how good or bad they do. But they'll be fine.

FUCCKING NUT SACK...this game should have easily been wrapped up in the first quarter.
terrible play calling and some poor defense really set us back, and not to mention some HUGE mistakes from our favorite michigan player, MORGAN TRENT, what a joke.

Totally agree, the stuff with going to the west coast has always haunted them, even back when they were good back in the 80's, they just dont do well out there period.

Turnovers it what cost them this week. Period. They are allot better than they played and they will be allot better the rest of the season, the ledge jumpers just need to settle down.

1. Why was Caldwell in on the second to last kickoff? After what Scott showed last week, I want to see him back there as much as possible.
2. Why didn't Caldwell learn from his earlier fumble, you can't be careless with the ball.
3. Why in the [censored] did the run with Jeremi Johnson in the redzone, knowing good and well that Leonard and Scott combined for 170+ yards.... Bad playcalling IMHO.
4. Morgan Trent needs to quit having flashbacks to his college career... That coverage on the last TD pass was a disgrace to say the least.
5. The conservative play calling in the 2nd half needs to stop... If your only up 7 in the 3rd quarter, it isn't necessary to run the ball 90% of the time when the run game wasn't exactly working then.

Thankfully the Ravens, Steelers, and Clowns lost and no ground was gained in the division.

when I left to go take my daugther to her fastpitch softball practice, Carson Palmer had near 150 yards passing mid point of the 2nd quarter...

he finished with 207??? why can't that douchebag Bratkowski keep his foot on the throttle and finish off teams when he has a chance???

three losses: Raiders, Texans and Broncos...terrible.

Hate to say it but some of the close games have to be credited to Bratkowski and his horrible play calling... I called for his head when they fired the defensive coord in 07, I called for his head after last season, and I've called for his head several times this season... It's time to get a GOOD play caller, with more than 10 plays in his pocket.

Bartkowski always play calls right into terrible teams hands

the first Browns game which we nearly gave away and this Raiders game

absolutely terrible

why the fuck would you put the ball in Jermi Johnson's hands?

My thoughts exactly... Jeremi Johnson has never been a dominating runner. So why try and get him in the mix now? I'd say that's the last thing the Bengals need is ANOTHER run threat. We have 4 now.

I like that he's sticking with the run this season. It's about damn time.

BUT

Oakland was stacking the box from the word go. And Brat still pressed his point to a 2 TD advantage with the run. Great! NOW... How's about a play action pass on first down? Chad and Coles were both getting open on the Bengals' few passing attempts. Do you think they'd be more or less open with a bit of run action for the D to bite on?

I had to laugh out loud when he finally called the quick slant against their blitzing D. 4 minutes left to go in the game, and he finally recognizes that he has a play in the book to answer the stacked line/run blitz with man coverage on the outside. You'd think he'd realize that his last dozen runs went for a total of 22 yards, and adjust a bit sooner at the NFL level.

Just pathetic.
